New horizons on predictive maintenance

چکیده
This paper deals with predictive maintenance and its importance on industrial applications. After introduction, brief information is given about causes of electrical motor failures and then, predictive maintenance concept is introduced. Next, most popular techniques are told briefly. Model based fault detection technique which is utilized by Artesis MCM (Motor Condition Monitor) unit is mentioned. A case study is given at the end of the paper.
